We are delighted to officially announce Springpack is now a FSC® Chain Of Custody Certified company.
Working with the team at Interface NRM, we are delighted to hold such a prestigious certificate.
To ensure we covered all of the relevant area’s, we pulled together a team to focus on gaining FSC® certification. The team consisted of Simon, Mark, Ian, Maria & James. This meant we had representation from our Marketing, Purchasing, Operations, Accounts & Sales teams.
Mark, our Procurement Manager, stated “Gaining this certification is a massive step forward for Springpack.” He continued “Responsibly sourced products is high on the agenda at Springpack, and FSC® is a big part of that.”
Simon, our Marketing Manager, added “Holding FSC® Chain Of Custody is great for Springpack. It was great to be involved in the project, and I’m looking forward to our next eco-friendly chapter!”
Ian, Operations Manager, concluded “It was a real team effort to get FSC® certification. We hold a series of ISO certificates too, and adding FSC® is just fantastic.”
So what will this mean to our customers?
By having the FSC® Chain Of Custody certification, we can guarantee our paper products come from sustainable sources.
Why is this good news for Springpack?
Being an eco-friendly packaging solutions specialist, we felt this was the next step for us to take. Ensuring our paper products come from sustainable sources is paramount for both Springpack, our customers, and of course, the environment.
So what’s next?
It’s certainly going to be a busy few months! We’ll be reviewing all of our suppliers, and switching non-FSC® certified products to FSC® certified products where possible.
What’s next for Springpack?
Put simply, to continue to source the very best eco-friendly packaging solutions! We have also pledged to be Carbon Neutral by 2023, so we really are practicing what we preach!
